Oh yes, they have loyalty program too. So, the more you buy, the more rewards you can redeem later. You definitely don’t want to miss this out!
2. JAYARNFIBER SHOP
Jayarnfiber shop is just establish last year (2018) and mostly active selling in Instagram (click here to check out their Instagram) as compared to in website. So, good news! You can directly contact the owner asking for yarns you desire.
Bonus for this seller is that they conduct workshop and sell 13 USD Happy Box containing 3 different skein colour yarn according to theme along with hook, stitch marker and tape.
3. SPOTLIGHT STORE
As what you may have heard in your place, Spotlight Store has vast branches across the world. But in Malaysia branch, you may get access to yarn as low as RM 4.90 @ 1 USD!
Crazy isn’t it!
4. COTTONHOUSE STORE
This store is located in Penang. What I love about this store is that they sell almost EVERY TYPE OF YARN including top brand like Red Heart and Ice. But the price is the same with what you can get at your place. So if you would like to try some local type under-price yarn, then you might want to check out yarns in this store.
The yarn price in this store varies as low as RM 3.50 @ less than 1 USD.
Some sneak peak below of what they offer.
Besides that, they sell accessories and crochet and knitting tools too!
5. KRAF EZEE STORE
Kraf Ezee’s main product is not yarn though. However, they sell so far the cheapest yarn from all my list here. They are as cheap as RM 2.90 @ 0.6 USD. Some draw backs are it’s local brand (Minlon, but has superb reputation being lead yarn and thread company in Malaysia alongside Nona)
I myself started with Nona and Minlon when I first started learning crocheting and the outcome is just as amazing as what a 1 USD yarn can do!
6. YARNSCOTTAGE (IG SHOP)
Yarns Cottage mainly sell product from USA but at cheaper price. So, if you happen to travel here and would like to get a made in USA yarn, you might want to buy from them.
7. DMMZI (IG SHOP)
Another cheap yarn shop I want to highlight here is this. DMMZI has a Shopee Online Shop too (if you find it more convenient). Check the online shop here. They sell Nona yarn as cheap as RM 2 @ 0.4 USD per skein.
8. DIY ALATAN KRAF BENANGKAIT (IG SHOP)
So this IG shop state obviously that they SHIP WORLDWIDE!
Located in Klang Selangor, it is very much convenient if you can stop by this store while visiting Kuala Lumpur.
Their price range from as low as RM 2.50 – RM 3.50 @ less than 1 USD per skein and type of yarn are mostly Cotton Milk. But in their resent post they too sell t-shirt yarn alongside crochet starter kit for just RM 22 @ 5 USD
9. BENANGKAITMALAYSIA (IG SHOP)
So, if you are into Turkey Yarn then this shop has what you are searching for.
This shop sells Alize Turkey Yarn for RM 90 @ 25 USD/ pack (5 skein per pack) and will give free postage from Turkey to Malaysia shipment. Hence, if you live outside Malaysia, I don’t really suggest you buying. But if you are currently staying in Malaysia or living in Malaysia then this is a great deal.
As for quality, I don’t think I have to say much as the brand speaks for itself 🙂 Just look at the price!
10. DAKNITYARNSHOP (IG SHOP)
So, slightly different from previous stores I have mentioned above, this yarn shop is located in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah in Borneo Island, eastern Malaysia.
Again, just because these yarns are originally from Turkey, the price for some people is rather high. For me, I believe in genuine stuff. So the price is like that for the quality it offers. Last time I check with them one skein of Nako will cost you RM 25 @ 5-6 USD. But you will get free postage if you buy 5 skeins and above in one bill.
So, before you leave, you might want to check the reason why you start crocheting here. Just wondering if we have the same reason, then consider me as your crocheter networking is a good investment for you!
